Ed Morse is currently seeking a Facilities/Variable Ops Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directs all maintenance and upkeep of locations to ensure they occur within budgeted levels and conform to company specifications. Coordinates all construction and repair projects and inspects completed work.
  • Implements and maintains preventative maintenance program
  • Manages building maintenance, equipment inventories, utility operations, and grounds maintenance
  • Oversees major infrastructure repair and renovations projects by identifying and managing vendors/contractors, contract compliance, and vendor/contractor performance
  • Communicates with customer, vendors, internal and external partners on the status of work and issues effecting services
  • Ensures service agreements are met and maintenance services are in compliance with procedures and budgets
  • Consults with corporate management team in the specification and purchase of major equipment or systems
  • Works directly with vendors to request proposals for repairs, maintenance and capital improvements
  • Directs the daily assignment of work to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field desired and/or High School graduate with experience greater than the minimum
  • 6+ years’ experience in facilities operations
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and functions of buildings.
  • Works with peers, and management to promote and maintain a collaborative workplace.
  • Extremely proactive, responsive, and upbeat with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
