Ed Morse is currently seeking an Automotive Warranty Clerk to join our team!

• Job duties include but are not limited to managing the financial transactions related to purchasing automotive warranties and products at a dealership.

• Verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, processing payments to vendors, reconciling statements, and maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable within the dealership.

• Ensuring timely and correct payments to suppliers while adhering to company policies and procedures. 

• Process and post cancellations per lienholder requests, customer requests and cancellations per statements.

• Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process.

• Process refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders.

• Maintain the schedules and work the reconciling items on the extended warranty/insurance reconciliations.

• Calculate and post finance chargebacks.

• Handle additional tasks as requested by management.

• Minimum of 2 years Automotive experience preferred
• Associates degree with a major in accounting or completion of two years of college coursework with an emphasis in accounting.
• Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Experience with at least one accounting software program.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with accounting computer software CDK program.
• Ability to communicate effectively to resolve problems with other dealership employees, suppliers,  and governmental agencies.
