Ed Morse is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Brandon, FL.

We are looking for techncian who have experience with General Motors and Cadillac or Alfa Romeo brand experience. 

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks efficiently, adhering to dealership standards and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize your expertise and knowledge of the latest automotive technologies to accurately diagnose and resolve complex vehicle issues.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and more, following manufacturer specifications.
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the service process.
• Communicate mechanical diagnoses and repair needs clearly and concisely to service advisors and customers, using non-technical language when necessary.
• Continuously expand your knowledge and skills by participating in formal training sessions to stay up-to-date with rapidly evolving automotive technologies.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting any issues and ensuring that necessary repairs are completed before delivery.

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician, specifically with General Motors vehicles, is required.
• Experience with Cadillac or Alfa Romeo brands is preferred.
• ASE Certification is required.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proficient in using shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC equipment, and more.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, DMV screening, and drug screening.
